[NOTE: This is from the horse's mouth that Islam requires Sharia law for all Moslems. This is why all non-Moslems should be familiar with the basics of Sharia law. One of the best sources is "Reliance of the Traveller -- A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law" which you can order from Amazon. This manual is authoritative. You can see for yourself that Sharia law, among many other things which are anathema to our way of life and American Constitution,  requires death for apostates, blasphemers, adulterers and homosexuals; and that "Jihad means to war against non-Muslims." Sharia law prohibits freedom of speech. Sharia law requires the legal inferiority of women and non-Moslems. All of this is being taught and promoted by this "Muslim Education Action Center."  Notice that they are complaining that "Muslims are prohibited from governing themselves under the principles of their own faith." What they mean is that our American laws prevent Moslems from living under Sharia law.]

[NOTE: The MEAC is mobilizing its forces to promote Sharia law in America. When they complain that the "Islamic way of life is increasingly threatened in America", they mean that American law prohibits them from living according to Sharia law. They consider this to be a restriction on their religious freedom -- and, they are right! In America, people are free to practice their religion only insofar as that practice is in accord with American law. Because Sharia law contradicts American law, Moslems are NOT free to practice their religion in America. Think about that. ]
